Day 3 Jelly Belly Factory and Prom??
This morning we woke up to our beautiful view of San Francisco. We got all ready, because this morning we were heading to the Jelly Belly Factory. So we got in our car and drove back across the Oakland Bay Bridge. It was actually a pretty far drive, and after taking the wrong exit and turning down every wrong road, we finally made it to Jelly Belly Factory. It was awesome! There was this awesome Jelly Belly truck parked outside, and then when you walk in, there are a bunch of Huge Jelly Beans hanging from the ceiling! Its so cute inside! So we went in and waited a few minutes to begin our tour. They brought us up a ramp, gave us these cute jelly belly hats, and showed us an introduction video. Then they took a picture of us with a big jellybean haha, and then sent us on our way. You get to look down into where everything is actually being made, and at every stop, there is a video explaining a step of the process. It was really cool! They had these machines where you could smell the jellybeans and guess what they were haha. And then they had this game, and I played against grandma and mom and I won both times! The worker said she had never even seen that high of a score haha. Go me! And then at the end of the tour, they gave us free little packs of Jelly Beans. And grandpa and grandma snuck some extras for us haha. Then we got our pictures, and left the tour. They had a little café downstairs, where everything is jelly bean shaped, so we went there. I got pizza in the shape of a Jelly Bean haha. And then we shopped around, and looked at the million jellybeans. And grandpa decided his favorite were the Buttered Popcorn ones (which are seriously the best), but he could not remember the name to save his life. He would ask me every five minutes what flavor they were, it was so funny! So we checked out, and walked away with soooo many jellybeans haha. And then we made the long trip back to the hotel. And by the time we got home, we layed down in the room for a little bit, then it was dinner time. So we went to the little café downstairs in the hotel, and grandpa, mom, and I got macaroni, and dad got soup and pizza. But the macaroni was literally the worst thing in the world. It was like it was frozen and they half heated it up in a microwave. It was terrible, so that was sad, but dad loved his Clam Chowder! And then we just sat and talked down there for a while, which was really fun. It happened to be prom at our hotel that night haha, and so we watched everyone come in all dressed up! It was actually really entertaining. And then we decided to go explore a little, and we went up to the 16th floor where the pool was, and we ran into a really nice man who had just come into the pool area with his grandchildren, and he talked to us for a while. He lives just a little bit out of San Francisco, and he was so nice! I love meeting kind fun people. And then we just went back to our hotel room, and that's about it for the night!
