Freshman Year Look Back

Hey there! My best friend Heather just posted something like this on her blog, and I loved the idea! Check her out at glitterandothergrandthings.blogspot.com

Freshman year was an interesting one. A lot of big changes showed up this past year, namely being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. We (being freshman) were at the top of the food chain, and we made some great memories! This year was a big turning point, and I learned a lot more about life.
So many great people helped me out, and I want to mention a few!

This is Hannah. I have a lot to thank her for. She is one of a kind and if I could take away one thing I learned from her it would be her determination. I have never seen Hannah give up on what she wanted.
She has truly changed my life, and I just love her!

This is Miss Proper. She may seem small, but she has a big heart and spirit and that is all that matters. We didn't really agree on a lot of things, but she pushed me to places I could have never gone on my own.
She is loud, hyper, friendly, beautiful and a fantastic teacher!

This is Coach. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I probably owe the biggest thank you to him. He changed my life whether either of us wants to admit it or not. In seventh grade him and his class were my absolute nightmare. I would ask to be checked out from his class. Yeah... Two years later I am here and saying that I have the biggest passion for fitness due to him pushing me. I ran a 7.30 mile because he never gave into my whining in class. Coach is one of my favorites I gotta say.

I will start with Will on the left. I have known William for my entire life, but I never knew him like I do now. Will is so great! We may not always agree or get along, but he is always a great friend (not to mention he can do the splits!!!).
Next is Breanna. Breanna is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is soft spoken, has a great laugh, so beautiful and she was always nice to everyone she talked to!

Ben helped me through a lot. I always thought Ben was too cool for me. In reality he is probably the nicest person I will ever meet. He never judged me even when I did the dumbest things, and every time I missed the goal or hurt myself in soccer Ben was right there to help me out. He even let me talk about my problems and then layed on the ground and laughed at me. I feel honored that I was a team captain with him.

This is Heather my wonderful best friend. I could write a million pages about her. She helps me out a ton. I don't think I have met anyone quite like her and that's why we are best friends. We balance each other out and I hope we stay friends always. She is the angel that always looks out for me even if I tell her I don't need her to.

This is part of the dream team. The dream team didn't always seem like a dream, but in the end I love each and everyone of them in their own special way. They each made an impact on me that I am thankful for.

Lakeview was quite a ride. My whole life I had been pulled out of school after school to move somewhere new, but Lakeview became my home where I got to spend 6 great years. Sad to see it go, but excited for what's ahead! Forever a Lion.
