You will never regret being Kind

This past Sunday we had a lesson in Young Women's that really hit home. Our teacher gave us a quote that said "You will never regret being kind." Think about it! Kindness is never the wrong answer, and if you always choose kindness, then you will never be wrong. If someone doesn't accept your kindness, then that is their own problem, not yours. Today alone my day was made multiple times, all coming from people who chose kindness. A girl in Biology asked if we could work on an assignment together because we were both confused, which probably didn't seem very important, but was exactly what I needed. A boy told me I was really sweet, which is simple, yet so kind!! My friend told me she really liked my hair, which was so nice because I didn't feel so great about it today. Kindness doesn't have to be buying flowers for someone, or baking cookies for all your neighbors. It can be as simple as a compliment or waving to someone in the hallway. I guarantee if you focus on being kind, you will be happier and you will recognize more fully the kindness coming your way. We should focus all of our energy on kindness, and there will be no room for hate or negativity. Kindness blocks out the haters. What more can we ask for, am I right?
