Spiritual Sunday Thoughts

Lately, I have had a lot of experiences that have testified to me how true the Gospel of Jesus Christ really is. Have you ever felt the feeling where you can't stop smiling, because you realized that Heavenly Father was always there with you, blessing you? If not, you can! I think the number one reason that we get lost and find ourselves far from God is because we let ourselves. We let ourselves forget. We forget to recognize that Heavenly Father is the reason we are living and have homes and clothing and food on our tables for three meals a day. Why do we forget? Because it takes effort to remember, and sometimes it's hard when we have so many other things on our mind. But if you have too much on your mind to recognize the Lord's hand in your life, then you have too much on your mind. I know I am guilty of this. We can break the habit though. When you wake up in morning, thank Heavenly Father for giving you another day to live, even if that seems strange to express. Say your morning prayers giving thanks to God for all the blessings that you have that you take for granted. If you express your gratitude and remembrance for Heavenly Father he will continue to bless you. It's a beautiful cycle, that will help you feel close to the Lord's presence continually.
