Type One to Type None
Today we did the JDRF 5K for Type One Diabetes. If you didn't already know, I have Type One Diabetes! I was Diagnosed in February 2015. I don't wish that I didn't have this trial. Going through this has taught me a lot of things that I'm very grateful for!
Anyway! The organization called JDRF is the leading organization for Type One Diabetes research, and they host these walks all around the world. I got to create a team under my name, and collect donations! We exceeded my goal, which was super cool, so I'm super grateful for everyone who helped out! The walk was super fun! My brother and I ran the whole way, which was awesome! The walk went around Liberty Park which was so beautiful! It was just a good time, and it's nice to know that I'm not alone in this crazy journey.

They gave free T-Shirts to those with Type One, so that was super nice (: |
Glad I have them |
We met the princesses. Don't really know why they were there, but we weren't complaining! |
Look how cute this is!! |
