Blogmas Day 9, 2018
Hi, today was like the most beautiful day.
I woke up early this morning and got all ready. I secretly love the time in the morning when I am just by myself getting ready. It’s so peaceful.
And then I sat down and started reading my scriptures. I only planned on reading a few chapters, and then actually ended up FINISHING the Book of Mormon! This is actually incredible for me haha. The prophet issued a challenge two months ago to read the Book of Mormon before the end of the year. Being a full time college student with a part time job, I honestly didn’t have much faith in myself finishing. But I did it. I read everyday, and I finished today. It was an incredible experience. I’m so thankful for the challenge and everything I learned.
Then at 9, I went and picked Heather up! We go to the singles ward mostly every Sunday together! I love when we get to go together, we have such a good time. And today was no exception! It was such a good church meeting! The cute relief society presidency invited us to sit with then in sacrament and they are seriously the sweetest. They have always been so kind to us. One of them bore their testimony at the end of relief society today and it made me tear up, it was so sweet. Our lessons were so good and funny today. I like the singles ward a lot haha. And then we went home!
When I got home I just had lunch and hung out. Mom and I actually played ping pong and foosball haha. I beat her every game but one! That was super funny haha.
And then we kind of just hung out for the rest of the night. And I’m here writing this now haha. So it was a very chill, very happy day.
Today I’m thankful for: The sweet relief society in the singles ward, the spirit bringing me to happy tears, and the power of the Book of Mormon. I’m feeling incredible blessed and thankful today! God is so good.
See you tomorrow! Can you believe it will be the 10th tomorrow!! Crazy!
