Our Special Adventure

Today we went on a special adventure. A service adventure. And it was beautiful. Now, disclaimer, I am not writing this post to brag or say that I am amazing for doing service. That is not what I am trying to say at all. I don't take any credit for this, I was just the deliverer. Anyway, let's talk about this adventure!
So back track a bit, Jon's girlfriend's mom called me a bit ago and said she had a plan! She wanted to do a little service outing to go along with Brighton A Day. And she was saying that if Jon and Syd were here (they are both on LDS Missions) that they would totally be doing service along with Brighton A Day. So we basically did our services in their name! We started at the dollar store and we handed out dollar bills to the little kids there. Then we went to Walmart and handed out some more with the Brighton A Day cards. We also gave the cards that give a free Tenney's Pizza. Then we took flowers and put them on people's windshields. And it was kind of awkward and some people gave us really weird looks, but it put me in such a good mood! And really it doesn't matter what the people thought of us. We were doing something good and for such an amazing cause. I think it is amazing that one little girl is making such a huge impact, and I'm so very thankful that I could take part in sharing some of that.
