May in Photos

Yay for May! This month really was a winner! So many fun things, and also so much hard work. Finished off my Sophomore year with a straight 4.0! Yes! And as much as I hated finals (I didn't even know that finals were a thing until this year, surprise! Lol) I really did good on my finals, and I felt really proud of myself! Anyway, here are some of the highlights:

- My Birthday!! Finally hit the big 16. And my mom surprised me with a huge cake that my old activity day leader made for me. I cried when she delivered it, because I was so surprised and excited! Thank you mom and Jana!

 I also got to meet Sally from Sallysbakingaddiction.com! She signed my cookbook and she was seriously the sweetest! It was so fun to meet her, perfect way to spend my birthday!

                                                                                                                              

- Lots of baking occurred of course. I got a donut pan for my birthday, and I had to try it out! Aren't these adorable? The sprinkles are my favorite (:

I just love taking pictures of my food haha. I'm a nerd. But also,

the cookies in this picture turned out amazing! My new favorite recipe!

They looked big like bakery cookies, but were so puffy and soft!

       - DISNEYLAND!! Yes, and it was magical. I seriously almost cried during the fireworks! I will forever love Disneyland, no matter how old I get!

          - I found my absolute favorite new Clothing store. It's called Uptown Cheapskate. I'm seriously obsessed.  Both of these outfits are from Uptown. Like 50% of my wardrobe is from there now...I told you, I'm obsessed.

- We went and bought flowers and planted them! I really do love this time of year! Plus, my mom is making a little fairy garden and it is going to be adorable!

So grateful for this time of year, and how blessed I am to have amazing experiences! Looking forward to a fab summer!
