One of THOSE days.
Have you ever had one of those days. You know, the days you wake up, throw your hair into a ponytail, put concealer on to try and cover up the fact that you stayed up late studying (crying) for the multiple tests you have the next day, then forget to bring lunch to school because you were focusing on preparing for a job interview, then the clip on your pump broke the day before (it seriously breaks like every other week Help me) and so it falls out of your pocket 25 times and you want to scream because that junk hurts, then you get to school and take your tests, and then your math teacher assigns you three assignments (which he didn't teach you in class because you ran out of time), and then he tells you that you have a test next class, then you leave school and 7 people cut you off and you just blast One Direction with the windows down to try and drown out the haters, and then you get home and you eat Halloween Oreos, and then realize you ate so many. And then you want to go to the temple, but they are only accepting family appointments. And then you wake up at 3 in the morning feeling like you are going to throw up. Because I've never had a day like that. HAHAHA. Just kidding, that was everyday this week... This week was seriously just like a weird time. Like, what are you even doing emma. I don't know. But what I do know is that this week also had its ups. Like getting 100% on my Financial Lit test, and my psych teacher cutting our test down to half of what it was before! And Friday being a minimal day! And my blog hitting 6000 views. Like what, that's pretty crazy. And that my mom bought Halloween Oreos (even though I ate too many :/ ) And getting to take some cute people's homecoming pictures! Anyway, I'm thankful for a power greater than any earthly power that has helped me through these few days, my Savior and Heavenly Father. Last night as I was saying my nightly prayer, I realized how special the gift of prayer is. We are given this amazing tool to communicate with our Father in Heaven, and the answers he sends are nothing short of miracles. Don't be afraid to talk to your Father in Heaven, I know that he wants to hear from you. And that is something too special to pass up.
Test crying. It's real.
ReplyDeleteWHY WOULD THEY ONLY TAKE FAMILY APPOINTMENTS.
Should I just make it a goal to comment on every single post? Haha :)
