4 Ways to be Happy
I just wanted to write down some ways on how to feel happier and confident, so all of you can go take the world head on. I know that when I don't feel confident, I'm not happy, and I want to stay inside and watch Netflix all day in the dark (not that that's a bad thing). It's just nice to feel like you can go out into the world and have confidence to do whatever you want. So here goes!
1. Dress the Part
I know that sounds so materialistic. If you can go out in the world without getting ready, then own that, more power to ya! Some of us on the other hand don't quite feel that way, which is okay. I know when I take a nice shower, do my hair and makeup, and pick a nice outfit I feel way more confident. Call me basic, but whatever.
2. Get your heart pumpin!
I know, you're in a bad mood, and the last thing you want to think about is working out, but it should actually be the first! When you work out you get your endorphins going that legitimately make you happy. So instead of crying in your room while eating icecream out of the gallon, go on a walk or lift some weights. Do your squats. You can thank me later.
3. Hang out with your Best Friend
Whenever I hang out with my best friend, I always end up laughing my head off. If you can't hang out with them, then call
them! I don't know anyone that wouldn't want to be called and
asked how they are doing. Seriously, go tell your best friend
you love them. Kay thanks!
4. Do something nice for someone else
I guarantee when you can put a smile on some else's face, you will end up smiling yourself. Everyone is struggling with
something, and if you could help brighten someone's day,
then you will end up brightening your own day. Service is
like a happy round of sunshine. Yeah I just wrote that.
