Ranting!

Hey everyone! Today I'm starting off with a rant, because it's about time for a rant on here. Haha I'm going to rant to you, and I want to hear your opinions, even if it is different than mine.
Anyway, so today my teacher sat down with us and explained to us that as he has been grading this huge assignment we did this term, that he has caught a ton of people cheating, and it made him super sad, and he put it out there that our school has this "culture", and it is not very good at all. And I totally agree with him. He told us that he went to a different school, and he could actually feel a difference, and that kids were actually in class when they were supposed to, and he said that he was talking to another teacher who actually said he might not want to teach at our school next year, because of our students. It honestly broke my heart. But it doesn't surprise me. And that's the terrible truth right there. I hear non-stop swearing. I'm not lying when I say that I hear the worst words more than I hear nice words. And the students give little to no respect to our teachers. And don't get me wrong, there are amazing students at my school. AMAZING people, but if you are not taking a stand against this, then you will be pushed under the current, and you are not making the situation better. I don't want to be scared to walk down certain halls, and I want to go to class with people who are excited to be there, and I want a school that has spirit, and enjoys activities. And that is not us. Maybe I am overgeneralizing. But really, I want to hear your guy's opinions on this topic. Because I can't be the only one. And I want to change it somehow. I don't want teachers to leave our school because we don't appreciate them. Our generation has become an entitled bunch, and we don't appreciate our awesome schools, and teachers enough. Do we not understand that these teachers spend countless hours, countless, solely to help us. They just want to help, so at least give them the time of day, and let's try to change this "culture". I want people to walk into our school, and feel safe, and excited to learn.
Wow, rant over haha, that felt good to get out. I'm sorry that was way long!
But honestly tell me your opinion on this, and how you think we could make a change!
