This is a Good Life.

Hello, I'm Emma and I am procrastinating NaNoWriMo. Haha, but not even joking. That is killing me! So I thought I would take time to write a new blogpost. I'm listening to Christmas Music and watching the rain fall outside, so it's a good time.
I'm just like really thankful right now. I know I sound so cliché, with Thanksgiving coming up this week, but I really am so thankful for life right now. And I want to list some of the things that I have been grateful for in the past little while.
1. My own little car (and the Taylor Swift CD from like 2012) (it's definitely blasted on repeat in my car) But seriously, I'm very very blessed to have my own car, even though it feels like it might explode some days haha, it gets me around (:
2. My ward. Seriously, what a cute group of people. Like, love just radiates, and it makes me so happy, because we are all secretly really weird, but it's just cool.
3. The dollar store/Christmas decorations. I definitely did not decorate my room for Christmas already (; But for reals, it's brought me so much happiness lately.
4. Christmas music. Don't hate. Just appreciate.
5. My seminary partner. Haha, I know he will never see this, but our conversations are just so funny (awkward), and Seminary is the only class period that he comes to the school for, and it's just impressive that he shows up every time. You go Sem Partner.
6. My fam. But how cool is the concept that you just have a group of people that are yours to keep. And you can just be completely yourself around them. As much as my parents get on my nerves, I know I get on their nerves as well, so we are tied (; But like, my oldest brother is just killin' it working full time and going to college full time, and my other brother just became an AP on his mission, and my sister in law teaches kindergarten at a really cool school. Holy cow! I have big shoes to fill!
7. Heavenly Father. Well this is a given, but like recently I've just noticed that God IS SO GOOD. I mean like, he is always there. When I try my hardest and don't quite make it, he always makes up the difference. Like a 7.5% A1C. Okay, this was a literal miracle. My A1C last time was an 8.2%, and my target is supposed to be 7.5%, and I made it this time! And I didn't think I was going to hit it, but I was trying my hardest, and Heavenly father definitely made up the difference.
8. People in general. I've never really been a people person. I'm someone who would much rather stay in my room all day and listen to music, but this past year, I've realized how cool people are. That sounds so dumb, but hear me out. Do you ever just think about the fact that every single person around you is like living just as intensely and passionately as you are. It just blows my mind, because so much of our time is spent thinking about our own lives, and selfish desires, but like everyone else is experiencing their own story and life. Woah, I'm blowing my mind just typing this.
8 (Part B). People who can make me laugh. I've been laughing so hard lately, and the best feeling is laughing for absolutely no reason. And as much as I hate my obnoxious laugh, it makes other people laugh harder, and I absolutely love that. Like the people who sit at my math table. We literally laugh so much, and for no reason at all, and it makes me so happy. And the people at my work think my laugh is just hilarious. I always hear people trying to imitate it, which is so funny. But as much as work can be terrible, laughing with my co-workers makes it a little better.

So for reals, this is a good life. I take for granted
This picture was from Last Thanksgiving, and it's really funny,
but I just miss these goons with all my heart
so much, and I could list 5 million more things I'm thankful for but unfortunately NaNoWriMo is waiting for me haha. So just remember that life is not as bad as it seems. And things are good. And you have the right to be happy. And God is so so good. And it's almost Thanksgiving, and you're doing good. Wow, life is just good. Okay byeeee
