Gratitude Post #2

Wahoooooo! What a whirlwind of a week! To be honest this week was pretty rough, but under that tough exterior there were so many Tender Mercies. Let me name a few:
1. Random Acts Of Service. This is the standout of the week. I am blown away by how many people were so so thoughtful this week. I felt ridiculously spoiled and blessed! It makes me heart happy to know there are still such wonderful people in this world.
2. Hugs. I hugged my brother for the last time for two years on Tuesday, which was hard, but I'm thankful that we have such a special friendship. I went back to my old middle school today and all my cute friends ran up and gave me hugs and I couldn't ask for anything more. I think we should all give more hugs (:
3. Catching up with people! I love when you talk to someone you haven't in a while, and you can just talk about anything and everything. Face-to-face interaction, rather than over phones and such, is just really nice.
4. The cute boy that sits next to me in Seminary. Just gunna throw that out there haha. But also he is nice, so bonus points. I can just feel you judging me (:
5. THE GOSPEL. I feel like I could never not mention this. Everything about the gospel just is so good. Heavenly Father's divine plan is just. so. amazing. The knowledge that families can be forever. Prayers being answered. Prophets who receive revelation. You can not tell me that is not amazing.
6. Laughter. I am completely aware that my laugh is loud and obnoxious and I'm not apologizing haha. I love to laugh and if you have a problem with that then go somewhere else. (:
7. Genuinely happy and kind people. There is a lady in my ward who I absolutely adore and I think I realize why I do. She is genuinely kind and that is who she is. She doesn't have to think about it, it is just who she is. I've been working to be more like that!
8. When people say the words "Thank you". I just think it's respectful and cute. Be cute and say thank you okay.
9. My cute aunt who rushed to my school to pick me up when I felt sick. She seriously got herself and my little cousin ready just to drive to my school and pick me up. I'm thankful for her and that she is my aunt and we live so close. Plus she told me she is willing to hang out whenever I get lonely. I will for sure keep her (:
10. The guidance of the spirit. Listening and heeding to the guidance from the spirit is something I have definitely not mastered, but I have really been working at. I think it is amazing when people can heed the guidance of the spirit at all times. Something we can all strive for this next week!

Well thank you for listening to my ramblings. I hope I inspired you to think of some things you are grateful for. I LOVE YOU. Also, bonus, it's Friday tomorrow, so be grateful!!!
